The coats are made using 2 strands of double knitting yarn so it gives a nice chunky weight garment just right for the cold weather and can be worn outdoors or as a sleep coat indoors. Instructions are given for a 21 inch coat - measure your Whippet from collar to base of tail - but you can make alterations if you need it longer or shorter.

Love the newsletters and wonder if you have any plans to produce a collection of the doggie recipes? I have two rescue retired racing greyhounds who are very fussy eaters but love homemade liver biscuits. I just though it could be good fund raiser – I’d buy a copy anyway!!!

Like Mandy, I thank you very much for the free knitting pattern. I’m not a very experienced knitter but I want to try to make things for the two rescue retired greyhounds my brother and his partner have. The snoods will be a good start and I have bought a couple of other patterns so I have other items to aspire too I’m glad to have found your website. Many thanks again.
