Great Greyhound eBook raises over £500

The Great Greyhound Book, sponsored by Pyramid Design is proud to announce that the first payments have been made to the 10 Greyhound rehoming Charities.  On 15 January each Charity received a share of £524.30 and there are plans to make sales of the ebook even bigger and better in 2011 with an affiliate programme.  Details will be released in the very near future.

10 Charities for Great Greyhound Book

The Great Greyhound Book, sponsored by Pyramid Design, can now announce the 10 Greyhound rehoming Charities that it will be supporting with its proceeds.

The ebook will be compiled from stories, poems and photographs submitted by Greyhound owners and will be made available online for customers to download. There will be special offers and discounts kindly offered to book customers from companies that offer Greyhound related products. The 10 independent Greyhound rehoming Charities that will benefit from the proceeds of the book’s sales are:- Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust (UK), Greyhound Friends, Inc (USA), NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue, Inc (USA), Greyhounds 4 U (UK), Greyhounds Only (USA), Adopt-a-Star Rescue (USA), Rescued Racers (USA), Celia Cross Greyhound Trust (UK), East Midlands Dog Rescue (UK), Greyhounds in Need of Adoption (GiNA) (Canada).

“This is such an exciting project and I am looking forward to collecting stories, poems and photos from Greyhound owners. There will be an announcement next week with details of how to submit material for the book” said Valerie Charman of Greyhounds4me, organiser of the project.

Pyramid Design will sponsor the Great Greyhound Book as it raises funds for 10 independent Greyhound rehoming Charities worldwide.

A massive ebook project is underway to raise funds for 10 independent Greyhound rehoming Charities worldwide.

The ebook will be compiled from stories, poems and photographs submitted by Greyhound owners and will be made available online for customers to download. There will be special offers and discounts kindly offered to book customers from companies that offer Greyhound related products.

“This is an opportunity for people to see their work in print, purchase some quality merchandise at discount prices and also help fund 10 Greyhound rehoming Charities, enabling them to find homes for these wonderful dogs” said Val Charman of Greyhounds4me, organiser of the project.

Step one is to recruit 10 independent Greyhound rehoming Charities who would like to receive a share of the book proceeds. Any Charity Directors who would like to apply to be part of the fundraising project should email Val
